Saxon Museum

Located in the basement of the Maison de Commune, this museum entirely dedicated to Saxon will make you discover the highlights of the history of the village. Try the experience and come and discover the various permanent exhibitions; such as the apricot cultivation, the casino or the bisse (alpine irrigation canal).

 

Restored and inaugurated in 2009, each area of the museum has been carefully laid out. You will be able to discover the various themes through emblematic objects, texts and testimonials. An area has also been dedicated to temporary exhibitions on a variety of subjects.

Open on Saturdays from 16h to 19h, except during the months of July and August.

On request, possibility of opening for groups from 10 people.
